S017 Helitak Harness
The S017 Helitak Rappelling Harness was originally developed for Smoke Jumpers rapelling into forest fires in Canada. It is now used by some Emergency Services in Australia.
It is a robust parachute-style harness that incorporates a “Capewell Lanyard Release” for quickly “getting off” the rappelling rope. The Release (S017-1) can be purchased together with or separately from the harness.
